If you’ve never surfed before but always wanted to…don’t waste time. Learn with the experts at the Mount Maunganui Surf School. Out focus is on communication, care and commitment so you get the best tips, feel safe, have fun and learn faster.

• Patrice (ex French surfing champ, international surfing diploma; 20 years' surf instruction)

Marine Parade, opposite Grove Ave about 1km from Mount Main Beach.

Hours:
Open daily 10am to 4pm
Open from mid-December to mid-February

Prices:
1hr lesson (board and wetsuit included) - NZ$35
1.5hr half lesson (board and wetsuit included) - NZ$45
5 day surfing course: 1hr per day - NZ$150
Group discounts available.

Surfboard hire available:
1 hr NZ$10 and NZ$5 for each additional hour.
